John Martin

Hey everybody. My name is John Martin. I work at NHRMC on the 6th floor Med Diab. I have worked there since Feb. I really enjoy working with everyone on that floor no matter how crazy it gets. I graduated nursing school last year in Aug, moved down here thinking I would get a job at the hospital right away but had to settle for CND instead. Don't get me wrong, thats a nice place to work too its just not what I had in mind. Apparently the hospital was on a hiring freeze? (at least thats what they told me) Anyway, with a little persistance I finally was offered a position. I plan to work on this floor for at least a year to gain experience. I want to transfer to an ICU of somesort b/c I believe I'm better suited for that type of nsg. I want to continue my edu because I don't want to look back and say "I should have' like alot of nurses I talk to say.
