Tina Jessup

Hi! My name is Tina Jessup. I am a nurse at NHRMC in the CCU. My specialty is hearts, and I love working with heart patients, unfortunately our unit is so big we get quite a bit of medical icu patients. I am married with one child a little boy, Cooper who is 21 months old, with one on the way due in 21/2 weeks. In my spare time, well I don't really don't have a lot of that right now. I work on Saturdays and Sundays, and am with my little boy the rest of the week. So most of my spare time is doing things with him, whether it's going swimming , going to the aquarium, music classes, art classes, or just going to the park. We stay very busy. My husband is amazing with our son as well always taking him places and doing things with him on the weekends while I am at work.

My personal feelings about returning to school are mixed. It is such a busy time in our lives right now, but I am also not getting any younger. I am very nervous about balancing school, a baby, a toddler, my husband, and all the other everyday life occurrences. I have a very strong faith in God and know that He will help me get through this. My ultimate goal is to become a NP but not really sure in what area. I look forward to growing and learning with all of you, and wish everyone the best of luck.
