Allison Bounds

My name is Allison Bounds. I am a nurse at Southeastern Regional Medical center in the Emergency Department and the ED's Express Amit unit. I have been a nurse since last June 2009. I graduated from Richmond Community College in Hamlet North Carolina. I decided to get my BSN degree because I have so many classes already towards my BSN from when I was a student at UNC-Pembroke. Also, I plan to continue my education and get my Masters degree, I am still unsure what area of nursing I will choose to get my Masters in. I am 26 and single. I have no children, but I have 4 nieces and nephew. I stay busy with them. They range from 12 months to 10 years old. I have a great dad and mom. I love to read and go to the movies. Most of all I love to spend time with my family.

I hope that by going back to school I gain skills and knowledge to further my nursing career. In the future I hope to work with patients at a cancer and/or hospice.
