Message from Debbie Banks

Hi to all, I am Debbie Banks and I actually plan to do most of my work for this course in the classroom at CCCC. I was sick and missed the first class so I am going through the first module with all of you and have really enjoyed reading your postings. I have been an RN and married for 34 years. Two huge accomplishments in one year. I graduated from one of the Diploma schools, so there were no college credits for us. Great education though. I just spent the last 4 years getting my AA degree at CCCC and have finally reached the University level. I have worked at Carolina East Medical Center in New Bern for the last 25 years and the last 22 years in the ICU. What a ride it has been. I look forward to the next 2 years of school and the reward and opportunities at the end of that journey. I have great support of 4 brothers, 1 sister and their families, Mom and Dad, my husband, son age 29 and daughter age 27 and their families which include 3 absolutely awsome grandchildren, ages 4,3 and 1. I am truely blessed. What makes me nervous? All this new technology and being able to keep up. You all sound like a great group to be partnered with. Good luck to us all.
