Message from Nykkessia Jones

I am Nykkessia Jones from Teachey, NC. I completed my ADN at James Sprunt Community College in 2006. Since that time I have been employed at Duplin General Hospital. I worked on a Med-Surg floor for 6 months then transferred to the Womens Center where I rotate providing care for Gyn cases, antepartum complications, labor & delivery, postpartum and newborn nursery. I decided to further my education in hopes of some day becoming a nurse practitioner in womens health or pediatrics. I am a single parent of 3 children, ages 10, 7, and 9 months. I am feeling a little scared about school but I am determined to do my best.
