Message from Cathy Piner

Hello to everyone. My name is Catherine but everyone calls me Cathy. I have been a RN for over 20 years and I work at New Hanover in the high risk antepartum unit. I have work in other areas such as ER, Orthopedics ,LD. I am so excited to finally be taking nursing classes. Chemistry and statistics made me crazy. I have four children and two of them are in collage also. I hope to finish my BSN and then continue on to graduate school. My final goal is to become a nurse practitioner. I would someday like to move back to my hometown in upstate NY and take care of my Amish friends. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family just hanging out.
